Originally wanting to pursue a career in Wildlife Management and live in wild places away from people, I failed in my first attempt at studies. Then, strangely, I accepted a position with the Wildlife Society as an Environmental Education Officer at the Umgeni Valley Project. Thrown in the deep end in a position I did not initially feel comfortable with, I soon discovered myself and what I enjoy most: I LOVE sharing Nature with people!
I have also had the privilege of working in big game wilderness at Umlani Bush camp in the Greater Kruger National Park, as well as hands-on with the animals at the Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre.

Marc doing what he is passionate about: Chatting about animals.
Currently I am working as a freelance Tour Guide and Field Guide throughout the northern parts of South Africa, and in the process of completing my National Guide qualification.
